NAB: What To Expect at The Centennial Show

Last week we announced the launch of Accedo’s OTT podcast - Playback. What started as a fun idea to foster a creative growth environment within our teams led us to a fulfilling purpose - to share our knowledge and expertise with the media and streaming industry.

In our inaugural episode, we are featuring Mrugesh Desai, VP of North America, to break down the upcoming NAB Show. Alongside our guest, our co-hosts, Stanley and Neil, drill into what NAB means to the OTT industry, key trends in FAST, XR/VR, sports, sustainability, and more. They also discuss what we hope to see at the show and what Accedo will showcase.

“There was sort of this inflection point where two or three years after the iPhone launched, suddenly there was a marriage between better price points and just this rich burgeoning ecosystem of contents and apps. So with the XR industry, I think something similar will happen. You're going to see the competitiveness between the VR device manufacturers in particular, starting to benefit the consumers with price points.” - Mrugesh Desai.
