About the Role
As the Operations Director, you will be responsible for driving the success of our Managed Service (MS) offerings for our clients. You will act as the primary escalation point for major service concerns, ensuring seamless collaboration between delivery, operations, and product teams. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning strategic, technical, and service operations with client priorities, ensuring we meet and exceed our service commitments.
This role requires a proven leader with extensive experience in operational management, program/project coordination, and vendor collaboration, particularly within the OTT industry. Fluency in Turkish is mandatory for effective communication and relationship management with clients and local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Own overall service coordination and governance, ensuring operational excellence across all managed services.
- Act as the primary escalation point for major service concerns, fostering trust and accountability with the client.
- Drive seamless collaboration between internal teams (delivery, operations, and product) and external vendors.
- Ensure alignment between strategic goals, technology, and service operations with client's priorities.
- Establish and optimize processes, ensuring improved efficiency and smoother service execution.
- Lead and stand up Tiger Teams when necessary to address critical issues and drive solutions.
- Monitor service performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage P&L responsibilities, ensuring financial performance aligns with strategic objectives and profitability targets.
- Advocate for continuous improvements, refining service offerings based on data and client feedback.
- Support budget planning and cost control measures within the managed services framework.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in operational management, program/project management, or service coordination.
- Experience in P&L management, with a track record of budget ownership, financial planning, and cost control.
- Proven experience running an OTT service and working in a fast-paced digital environment.
- Strong background in process optimization, vendor management, and service operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment.
- Demonstrated assertiveness and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative leadership approach.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and aligning business and technology strategies.
- Fluency in Turkish is mandatory; proficiency in English is required.
